SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution to Authorize the Public Works Director to Execute Local Agency - State Cooperative Agreement No. 01-0376
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Department of Public Works is required to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with the State in order to construct, within the State Right of Way, the Eastlake Elementary Safe Routes to School and Community Development Block Grant Sidewalk and Street Lighting Project in Clearlake Oaks, CA.
We are asking that the Board adopt a Resolution that allows the Public Works Director to act on behalf of the County and sign Cooperative Agreement No. 01-0376.
Enclosed is Cooperative Agreement No. 01-0376 between the County of Lake and the State of California. This Agreement establishes the roles and responsibilities for construction within the State Right of Way of the Eastlake Elementary Safe Routes to School and Community Development Block Grant Sidewalk and Street Lighting project.
Also enclosed is the proposed Resolution that will authorize the Public Works Director to sign Local Agency-State Cooperative Agreement No. 01-0376.
