SUBJECT:                     Consideration of Revision to Exhibit “A” of the Uniform and Clothing Purchase Policy

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

As you recall, earlier this Fiscal Year, your Board approved changes to the Exhibit “A” of the Uniform and Clothing Purchase policy to be to include “Safety Boots/Resole”, “Hard Hats”, “Polo Shirt”, “Hat” and “Jackets” for Building Inspectors as well as “Hiking Shoes/Boots” and “Windbreaker Jackets” for Appraiser staff who have routine field assignments.

 

Since that time, the Health Director has advised that Environmental Health field staff are also require “Hiking Shoes/Boots” and “Reflective Vests” to be added to “Shirts/Vests”.

Staff recommends your Board approve additional revisions to Exhibit “A” of the Uniform and Clothing Purchase Policy and Direct Human Resources Director to Conduct Meet and Confer.
