SUBJECT: Consideration of Letter of Support for Senate Bill (SB) 58 (McGuire)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As you are aware, Senator McGuire is the author of SB 58 in support of continued State Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) payments with future state administrations. Such legislation is good for small rural counties like ours where publicly owned lands do not generate property tax revenues.
