SUBJECT:                     Waive 900 Hour Limit for Certain Facilities Maintenance Positions Within the Department of Social Services.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The Department of Social Services requests authorization to waive the 900 hour limit for the two Extra Help Facility Maintenance (FM) workers.

Wes James and Robert Kuckowicz have been working for the Department of Social Services since 2015.  They do fleet and building maintenance and fill in as needed on special projects.  We have full time FM staff out on leave and we need coverage.  Their wages are paid out of Budget Unit 5011, Social Services Administration.  We have sufficient salary savings to cover this increase in cost.  Their hours will not exceed 999.
