II. ABATEMENT SUMMARY

On July 30, 2015, a Notice of Nuisance and Order to Abate was prepared and posted at 6002 Grove Street Lucerne CA, within the Clearlake Beach Annex Subdivision, and mailed, certified to the property owner of record due to excessive open and outdoor storage, failure to dispose of household trash, failure to maintain weeds, inoperable vehicles. Several complaints had been filed by area residents. The Abatement Notice provided Ms. Kuppinger with 30 days to abate the property. After several site visits and multiple contacts with the property owner, staff determined that compliance was not going to be met.

Therefore, on or about December 9, 2016 staff from Code Enforcement solicited and obtained bids from local contractors for abatement of the aforementioned violations on the property. On January 9, 2017 a local contractor was awarded the contract and started work soon after.
A follow up site visit was conducted confirming the contractor had completed the work.
