SUBJECT: Informational Report from California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) on Cannabis Rules for Irrigated Lands
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The SWRCB has a state program that allows counties to move on a ministerial approach to cannabis grower certification rather than a front loaded permit approach. Given the ongoing local discussions on cannabis, I am arranging for a SWRCB representative to provide a brief presentation to our Board on our March 28, 2017 agenda on cannabis rules for irrigated lands.
