SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Amending Resolution No. 2016-145 Establishing Position Allocations for Fiscal Year 2016-2017, Budget Unit 4014, Department of Behavioral Health
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As your Board is aware, there was a recent title change for the department head position in the Behavioral Health Department from “Behavioral Health Director” to “Behavioral Health Administrator/Acting Behavioral Health Director”. Following this change, staff is recommending that the titles for the Deputy Director positions be updated to “Deputy Behavioral Health Administrator - Clinical” and “Deputy Director of Behavioral Health - Administration” for consistency within the Behavioral Health Department. There is no proposed change to the job description or salary related to this change. The title change has been done under the authority of the Human Resources Director.
In order to maintain historic information in the HR database, Staff is requesting that new position numbers be established within County service, and be reflected in the Behavioral Health position allocations.
