ABATEMENT SUMMARY

On January 13, 2017, a Notice of Nuisance and Order to Abate was prepared and posted at 7195 Liberty Street, Nice CA, within the Clear Lake Villas Subdivision, and mailed, certified to the property owner of record due to Substandard Dwelling, Open and Outdoor Storage of trash, debris and household garbage. Several complaints had been filed by area residents. The Abatement Notice provided Ms. Pavlish with 30 days to abate the property.
Several additional complaints were received from neighbors stating the garbage had not been removed from the property. On January 26, 2017 staff from Code Enforcement conducted a site visit to check the status of the household garbage. Upon arrival at the property, it was observed that the conditions remained the same, no progress was observed and that the household garbage had not been removed.
Authorization was requested and obtained from County of Lake District Supervisor; Jim Steele and County of Lake County Counsel; Anita Grant to conduct a Summary Abatement for the removal of just the household garbage.
Staff solicited and obtained bids for Summary Abatement of the household garbage on the property. On January...
