SUBJECT: Approve Agreement with the California Department of Parks and Recreation to augment staffing at the Clear Lake State Park for the period May 26, 2017 through September 4, 2017 and authorize Sheriff to sign the Agreement.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The California Department of Parks and Recreation has requested assistance from the Lake County Sheriff’s Department to augment their staffing at the Clear Lake State Park for the period between May 26, 2017 and September 4, 2017. The Sheriff’s Department will provide staffing for a total of 40, ten hour shifts. These shifts will be provided on an overtime basis and will be reimbursed by the California Department of Parks and Recreation.

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): Monies in the amount of $18,982 will be allocated in the Sheriff/Coroner budget 2201 for FY 2017/18. Monies in the amount of $11,389 will be allocated in 2016/17 by separate resolution.
