SUBJECT: Adopt Proclamation commending Paul and Shery Loewen for decades of service to Lake County.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Paul and Shery Loewen recently sold Lake Aero Styling, which exemplified excellence in the Lake County business community for decades. The Loewens’ many efforts, including their work with the Lake County Airmen’s Association and the staging of Lampson Field Air Fairs, raised awareness of aviation’s contributions to the Lake County economy. Along the way, Paul Loewen developed dozens of innovative speed and performance modifications for Mooney Aircraft, developed a worldwide reputation for quality and reliability, and earned the Charles Taylor Award for 50 years of excellence in aircraft mechanics.
