SUBJECT: Board Workshop on Disaster Training for Elected and Appointed Public Officials
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
With fire season again approaching, and two new Board members, as well as changes in our Emergency Operations Center (EOC) disaster response team, the Sheriff/OES Director and I have worked together to schedule a special Board workshop on disaster response for both elected and appointed public officials. The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday June 6, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. The presenter is Dana Carey, OES Manager for Yolo County. In addition to your Board, this training will be attended by all County staff who served who comprise our EOC during local disaster.
