SUBJECT: NECESSITY FOR EXTRA CLOSED SESSION ITEM NOT ON THE POSTED AGENDA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This is to advise your Board that since the posting of the current agenda, circumstances have occurred relevant to a pending legal matter which requires your Board’s immediate attention. Since the agenda for today's meeting had already been printed prior to the time of that occurrence and because a direction from this Board should be provided prior to the next meeting of June 13, 2017, it is necessary for the Board to consider this matter today as an extra item.
Based on these facts, there is a need to take immediate action on the following matter which has come to my attention and to your Board after today's agenda had been posted.
These facts authorize a Closed Session in each instance as follows:
1. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9, subd. (d)(1): Lakeside Heights HOA, et al. v. County of Lake
