EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: North American Mental Health Services will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for Lake County Behavioral Health (LCBH) clients. As LCBH does not have a psychiatrist on staff at this time, North American Mental Health Services TelePsychiatry services are a necessary component in providing overall mental health care for Lake County Medi-Cal beneficiaries.

Original Contract Amount: $300,000
First Amendment Increase: $ 92,000
New Contract Amount: $392,000
FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): Due to a need to increase the number of days per week that TelePsychiatry services are provided, LCBH is requesting approval of the First Amendment to the Agreement for Fiscal Year 2016-17 in order to increase the contract maximum by $92,000 for a new contract maximum of $392,000. Funds will be re-allocated from unassigned funds within the same object code (23.80).
