SUBJECT:                       Adopt Proclamation Designating the week of July 17^th - July 23^rd as Invasive Weed Awareness Week in Lake County, CA

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: 

The week of July 17^th - July 23^rd is designated as California Invasive Weed Awareness Week.  The purpose of this week is to inform the public of noxious, invasive weeds that exist in Lake County.

Our department will be conducting the 14^th Annual Weed Tour on July 20^th, 9:00AM-12:00PM, at Anderson Marsh State Park in Lower Lake.  The tour will be in and around Anderson Marsh State Park, concluding with lunch and beverages.  For more information, please contact us at 263-0217.
