SUBJECT: Consideration of the Award of Bid for the Harbin Springs Road at Harbin Creek Bridge Replacement Project; Bid No. 17-04, Federal Aid Project No: BRLO-5914(106) in the amount of $1,092,803.60; and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement and execute the Notice of Award.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Purchasing Department publicly opened bids for the subject project on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Two (2) bids were received and the apparent lowest responsible bidder was Bridgeway Civil Constructors, Inc., Vacaville, CA. Please refer to the attached bid tabulation.
The project is fully funded from the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) and Toll Credits. The scope of the project is the replacement of the Harbin Springs Road Bridge over Harbin Creek.
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors award the Contract for the Harbin Springs Road at Harbin Creek Bridge Replacement Project to Bridgeway Civil Constructors, Inc. in the amount of $1,092,803.60 and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement and execute the attached Notice of Award.
