SUBJECT: Adopt Proclamation Designating Dwight Holford 2017 Conservationist of the Year, in Recognition of Continuous Dedication and Effort Toward Preservation and Conservation of the Natural Resources of Lake County.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
One of the fundamental functions of the LC Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Supervisors, is to recognize the meritorious efforts of local citizens or groups who unselfishly give their time to the conservation, protect and enhance the natural resources of the County of Lake. This year the committee has selelected Mr. Dwight Holford as the recipient. Mr. Holfords accomplishments and efforts initiated many positive programs in the south county that continue to this day. The committee will recommend that Mr. Holford be recognized as the 2017 Conservationist of the Year
