SUBJECT: Approve Building and Rooftop Space License Agreement between County of Lake and Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless; and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached for your review and approval is the Building and Rooftop Facility Space License Agreement between the County of Lake and Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless at 255 N. Forbes St. Lakeport, CA 95453. The agreement has been reviewed and approved by County Counsel and the technical aspects of the proposal and agreement have been reviewed by Peter Gruchawka, the County’s Communication Site Manager.
The agreement, which has a five-year term, allows Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless to occupy the space at 255 N. Forbes St, Lakeport to accommodate communications equipment.

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): The initial license fee of $36,319 annually commences on the date of execution by both parties. The annual rent shall increase by 3% each year on the anniversary of the commencement date and each year thereafter. Additionally, Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless will pay a one-time only payment of $2,500 as reimbursement for administrative and legal fees incurred by LICENSOR in conjunction with the negotiation and preparation of this Agreement.
