II. ABATEMENT SUMMARY
On November 8, 2016, a Notice of Nuisance and Order to Abate was prepared and posted at 10314 Boren Bega Drive Kelseyville CA, within the Rivieras Planning Area Subdivision, and mailed, certified to the property owner of record due to open and outdoor storage of junk, trash and debris, inoperable vehicle and sub-standard dwelling. Several complaints had been filed by area residents. The Abatement Notice provided Mr. & Mrs. McManus with 30 days to abate the property.
On April 5, 2017 staff from Code Enforcement solicited and obtained bids for abatement of the open and outdoor storage on the property. On May 30, 2017 a local contractor was awarded the contract and started work soon after. On June 28, 2017 a follow up site visit was conducted confirming the contractor had completed the work. The abandoned vehicle was still on the property and was towed that same day.
