SUBJECT: Approve Water Mainline Extension Dedication and Conveyance for APN'S 060-350-23, -24 and -25; and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Wayne Chatoff completed construction of a water mainline extension in 2006, pursuant to a water mainline extension agreement approved by the Board in 2005 and in keeping with the District’s Design and Construction Standards. The subdivision required the construction of a hydrant for fire protection and although Urgency Ordinance 2685 was in effect at the time, the water mainline extension was constructed in anticipation of the time when the homes constructed on the subject parcels would be served by CSA No. 16, Paradise Valley Water. The homes are served by wells.
The District has not processed the Dedication and Conveyance due to the Urgency Ordinance remaining in effect, however with the completion of the annexation of CSA No. 16, Paradise Valley Water to the Clearlake Oaks Water system the Dedication and Conveyance of water mainline construction should be completed in order to fulfill the terms of the mainline extension agreement. Please note that the Dedication and Conveyance document specifies that approval does not guarantee a right to water service.
