SUBJECT                     Approve Contract Change Order No. 2 for Dry Creek Road at Dry Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Federal Project No. BRLO-5914(080); Bid No. 16-04 for an increase of $2,637.36 and a revised contract amount of $800,924.36; and authorize the Chair to sign.

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:  Attached for the Board’s review and approval is Contract Change Order (CCO) 2 for the subject project. 

Contract Change Order No. 2 addresses the balancing of several contract items to final in-place quantities, extra work for deck grooving, and extra work for storm damage repairs.

This change resulted in an increase of $2,637.36 to the current contract amount of $798,287.00.

This project is fully funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) thru Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) funds and California Toll Credit funds. Therefore, this project is 100% federally and state funded thru construction.

Staff recommends approval by the Board of Supervisors of CCO 2 and that the Board authorizes the Chair to execute said CCO for an increase of $2,637.36 and a revised contract amount of $800,924.36
