SUBJECT: Approve Appointment of Michelle Scully as permanent part-time Deputy County Administrative Officer I
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Please accept this memorandum as my request for approval to appoint Michelle Scully as permanent part-time Deputy County Administrative Officer I.
As you are aware, since October 2016, Ms. Scully has worked in our office as an extra help Deputy County Administrative Officer I, responsible for marketing and economic development. The recommended budget for 17/18 includes allocation of the permanent part-time classification and we are requesting Board approval to move Ms. Scully into it. Ms. Scully will continue to work as a 50% FTE (full-time equivalent) but as permanent, part-time, she will receive prorated benefits. Ms, Scully meets the qualifications for permanent appointment. She is an asset to the work of our office and we recommend she be made permanent.
