SUBJECT: Approve Agreement between the County of Lake and Forensic Medical Group, Inc. for Forensic Pathology Services for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020 with a contract maximum of $35,000 per year; and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Sheriff’s Department requests your approval on the attached contract for forensic pathology services with Forensic Medical Group, Inc. This contract is in addition to the one recently negotiated with Dr. Jacqueline Benjamin. This contract is retroactive to July 1, 2017. Their fee schedule has not increased and remains the same as in their 2014 contract.
Payment for these services is made from the Sheriff/Coroner budget 2201, object code 23.80 and is currently funded.
