SUBJECT: Approve Long Distance Travel September 20, 2017 through September 23, 2017 to Washington, DC for Kimberly Baldwin, Program Coordinator, Public Health Division
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Kimberly Baldwin, Program Coordinator in the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program has been selected by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) to participate in the Bob Cohen Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Mentorship program.
The purpose of this mentorship program is to support MRC Unit Leaders seeking guidance through a collaborative and supportive environment by building mentorship relationships with experienced Unit Leaders, assisting them with resources and overcoming potential challenges.
Travel including airfare, meals, hotel and airport parking are covered by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). Any additional costs will be covered by Emergency Preparedness Grant funds.
As Health Services Director, I fully support Ms. Baldwin’s attendance.
