SUBJECT: Approve the Appointment of Michelle (Micki) Dolby to the Permanent Position of Deputy Director of the Lake County Department of Social Services Effective September 12, 2017.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The incumbent resigned on August 14, 2017. Ms. Dolby is well respected in her current position as Staff Services Manager for the Administrative Division of LCDSS. In her eleven years with the Department, she has worked in eligibility, been a fiscal analyst and accountant, served as the program coordinator for the Area Agency on Aging, supervised reception at Anderson Ranch and most recently managed administrative services for the agency. Ms. Dolby meets the minimum requirements necessary to fill the position.
Given Ms. Dolby’s exemplary history with the department and my confidence in her ability to perform as Deputy Director, it is in the best interest of the department that she be appointed as soon as possible.
