SUBJECT: Approve Tenth Amendment to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Sun Ridge Systems, Inc. for the purchase and installation of CorEMR Link Software in the amount of $8,142, and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Sheriff's Department is requesting Your Boards' approval of the tenth amendment to the agreement between the County of Lake and Sun Ridge Systems, Inc for the purchase and installation of CorEMR Link software. The software will allow the Jail Medical Provider, CFMG to interface with the Sheriff's Department jail management system for the entry and tracking of electronic medical records. CFMG has agreed to pay these costs as well as the yearly maintenance support costs. This request has been reviewed with the Health Services Director as the Health Department administers the CFMG contract.
The contract with Sun Ridge Systems, Inc. has been in effect since July 16, 2002. This law enforcement suite of software is utilized throughout the Sheriff's Department, including the Hill Road Facility, Central Dispatch and the Enforcement Division. Due to the cost that would be required to replace this system, it is recommended that we be allowed to continue with this software vendor and amend the contract as deemed necessary.
