SUBJECT: Approve purchase of a John Deere 1570 Terrain Cut Commercial Mower and Discharge Deck from Belkorp Ag, LLC and Authorize the Public Services Director to Issue a Purchase Order in the Amount of $33,974.02
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Public Services Department budgeted for a new commercial mower during the 2017/2018 budget to replace the mower with over 10,000 operating hours that is currently being used at Lakeside Park. The proposed vendor, Belkorp Ag, LLC, provided a quote for a John Deere 1570 terrain cut commercial front mower and discharge deck through their GSA contract, and as such this purchase meets the competitive bidding exemption through the use of a cooperative purchase as allowed in Section 2-38.4 of the County Code.
