(a)                     Adopt Resolution Amending Resolution No. 2017-98 Declaring the Board of Supervisors Intent to Sell Property, Not Required for Public Use, Known as Holiday Harbor, Located at 3605 and 3655 Lakeshore Boulevard, Nice, California (APN’s 032-133-35 and 032-137-01), pursuant to Government Code Section 25520 et seq.; and

(b)                     Adopt Resolution Amending Resolution No. 2017-85 Declaring the Board of Supervisors Intent to Sell Property, Not Required for Public Use, Known as the Visitor Information Center, Located at 6110 State Highway 20, Lucerne, California (APN 034-112-360), pursuant to Government Code Section 25520 et seq.

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

 

The Resolution reflecting your Board’s intent to sell the property known as the Visitor Information Center was approved on July 11, 2017.  Similarly, the Resolution of your Board’s intent to sell the property known as Holiday Harbor was approved on August 1, 2017.  Staff is requesting to amend these Resolutions to allow ample time for public notice of the sealed bid opening and presentation of oral bids. 

 

Specifically, the date of opening sealed proposals and receiving oral bids needs to be amended from October 17, 2017 to November 7, 2017 to allow sufficient time for public notices.  The sealed proposals and oral bids to purchase the properties will be received and considered during the regularly scheduled meeting on November 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.
