SUBJECT:                     Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Grant Application for Improving Safety and Community Awareness in Vicinity of Adobe Creek and Highland Springs Dams Inundation Zones

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

 

The State of California Department of Water Resources is requiring the Lake County Watershed Protection District to prepare Emergency Action Plans for Highland Springs and Adobe Creek dams. We are preparing a grant proposal for funding to support preparation of the plans. The state requires your Board to approve this resolution to receive the funds.
