SUBJECT: Consideration of Contract Change Order No. 1 for the CSA-7 Bonanza Springs Ridge Road Mainline project, Bid No. SD17-05
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This change order accounts for 3 additional meters and services installed during the project. The project had estimated the number of meters needing replacement at 9, however during construction it was determined that there were 3 additional meters connected to the specific section of mainline being replaced. Provision was made to ensure that all of our customers were reconnected to the water system main. The increased cost to the project is $5,379.00 for a total contract cost of $142,843.00

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): This project is a Valley Fire project and the expenses have been submitted to the County’s insurance provider for reimbursement. Changes to the scope of the project which are within the scope of the approved Statement of Loss are typically eligible for reimbursement. These minor changes are within the scope of the SOL and are expected to be reimbursed to the District.
