SUBJECT:                     Approve Letter of Agreement between the Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) in the amount of $210,000 for the period October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018; and authorize Sheriff to sign the Agreement and Chair to sign Workplace Certifications and Grant Assurances.

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:  The Sheriff’s office requests approval of the Drug Enforcement Administration Marijuana Eradication Agreement for federal fiscal year 2017/18.  This agreement is in the amount of $210,000.  These funds will be allocated in the FY2018/19 Sheriff/Marijuana preliminary budget request for Budget Unit 2203 or before depending on actual receipt of funds.
