SUBJECT: Appoint Kim Tangermann, Lakeview Health Center Director, to Serve on the Partnership HealthPlan Board of Commissioners and Represent Lake County for a Two Year Period
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The principle function of the governing board for Partnership HealthPlan is to provide oversight and guidance, set policy and provide strategic direction. County of Lake, under the current Membership guidelines continues to hold two seats on the Commission. Dr. Robert Gardner currently holds one of the two seats. The second seat was held by Dr. Karen Tait, who recently retired and resigned her position as a member of this Board.
The Health Services Department contacted Ms. Kim Tangermann, who is very interested in representing the County of Lake on this Commission.
Ms. Tangermann is currently the Director at Lakeview Health Center and has been a Board member on the Maternal Child Adolescent Health Advisory Board, the Middletown Unified School District, the Hope Rising Collaborative, the Community Transformation Grant Board, and is a steering committee member for SafeRX Lake County. She is a member of the Health Education Coalition and serves as a facilitator for the Coordination of Care/MCHC and Community Services.
The Health Services Department is requesting Board approval to appoint Ms. Kim Tangermann to the Partnership HealthPlan Board of Commissioners to represent County of Lake for a period of two years.
