SUBJECT: Approve Amendment 1 to the Agreement between County of Lake and Native American Mental Health Services dba North American Mental Health Services (NAMHS) for Fiscal Year 2017-18 in the amount of $380,000 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: North American Mental Health Services will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for Lake County Behavioral Health (LCBH) clients. As LCBH does not have a psychiatrist on staff at this time, North American Mental Health Services TelePsychiatry services are a necessary component in providing overall mental health care for Lake County Medi-Cal beneficiaries.

Original Contract Amount: $200,000
Amendment 1 Increase: $180,000
New Contract Amount: $380,000
FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): Due to a need to increase the number of days per week that TelePsychiatry services are provided, LCBH is requesting approval of Amendment 1 to the Agreement for Fiscal Year 2017-18 in order to increase the contract maximum by $180,000 for a new contract maximum of $380,000.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Amendment 1 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and North American Mental Health Services for TelePsychiatric Services for an increase of $180,000 for a new contract maximum in the amount of $380,000 for Fiscal Year 2017-18 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
