SUBJECT: Approve Request for Advance Step Hiring of Mental Health Specialist II, Step 5 for Dr. Peter Galagar
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: As this candidate possesses a Doctorate in Psychology and more than 25 years’ experience in providing specialty mental health services, I am requesting approval to bring Dr. Galagar in at the advanced step. The Director of Human Resources is in agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT: Adequate funds exist in wages and benefits object codes for this request and is accounted for in the existing budget due to unfilled positions resulting in staff salary savings.
STAFFING IMPACT: None
