SUBJECT: Approval Request for Advance Step Hiring of Mental Health Specialist II, Step 5 for Dr. Andrea Bruce.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: As this candidate possesses a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and more than 20 years’ experience in providing a wide array of specialty mental health services, I am requesting approval to bring Dr. Bruce in at the advanced step. The Director of Human Resources is in agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT: Adequate funds exist in wages and benefits object codes for this request and is accounted for in the existing budget due to unfilled positions resulting in staff salary savings.
STAFFING IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Lake County Behavioral Health is requesting Board approval for advance step 5 hiring of Dr. Andrea Bruce in the position of Mental Health Specialist II.
