SUBJECT: Approve Award of Bid for the Mockingbird Lane at Robinson Creek Bridge Replacement Project; Bid No. 18-01, Federal Aid Project No. BRLO-5914 (105) in the amount of $1,264,590.47 to Team Ghilotti, Inc of Petaluma, CA and authorize the Chair to execute the Notice of Award and Agreement.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Purchasing Department publicly opened bids for the subject project on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Four (4) bids were received and the apparent lowest responsible bidder was Team Ghilotti, Inc., of Petaluma, CA. Please refer to the attached bid tabulation.
The project is fully funded from the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) and Toll Credits. The scope of the project is the replacement of the Mockingbird Lane Bridge over Robinson Creek.
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors award the Contract for the Mockingbird Lane at Robinson Creek Bridge Replacement Project to Team Ghilotti, Inc. in the amount of $1,264,590.47 and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement and execute the attached Notice of Award.
