SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution Amending Resolution No. 2017-125 Establishing Position Allocations for Fiscal Year 2017-2018, Budget Unit No. 2703, Animal Control
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Access for Animal Control Officers to the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) is of paramount importance for the Animal Control Officers to do their jobs. While this access was not previously required, we are amending the current position allocations to replace two (2) ACO I/II/III positions with two (2) ACO I/II/III CLETS required positions. By doing so we will ensure that some of the staff always have access to this information for investigative purposes.
