SUBJECT: Consideration of Change Order No. One for Eastlake Elementary SRTS & CDBG Project in Clearlake Oaks, CA Bid No. 16-16, Federal Aid No. SRTSL-5914(097) for an increase of $11,860.60, for a revised contract amount of $5,165,508.14, and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On April 2, 2018 construction began on the Eastlake Elementary Safe Routes to School and Community Development Block Grant Project. During preconstruction meetings and discussions it became apparent that an on-site job trailer / office should be established for the Contractor and County Project Team Representatives to use on a daily basis.
This Change Order No. One (1) provides for splitting the cost 50-50 for the on-site job trailer with Granite Construction Company.
The project is funded through a combination of Federal Safe Routes to School, State Community Development Block Grant and Local funds. The project is 100% funded through construction with federal, state and local funds.
Staff recommends the Board of Supervisors authorize the Chair to execute Change Order No. One for an increase of $11,860.60, for a revised contract amount of $5,165,508.14.
