SUBJECT: Approve Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Charis Youth Center for Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2017-18
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is the Amendment 3 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Charis Youth Center for Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2017-18.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: Charis Youth Center is a Rate Classification Level 14 placement for children and youth that cannot maintain placement in the Lake County foster Care program and are in need of a more structured program milieu.

Original Contract Amount: $20,000
Amendment 2 Increase: $30,000
Amendment 3 Decrease: $30,000
New Contract Amount: $20,000
FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): As all Lake County Medi-Cal beneficiaries have been moved to lower levels of care, approve Amendment 3 to the Agreement for Fiscal Year 2017-18 for a decrease of $30,000 for a new contract maximum of $20,000.
STAFFING IMPACT (if applicable): N/A
Recommended Action: Approve Amendment 3 to the Agreement between County and Charis Youth Center for Fiscal Year 2017-18 for a new contract maximum of $20,000 and to authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
