SUBJECT: Approve Budget Transfer for Purchase of a Color Plotter, Copier, Scanner for the Environmental Health Division's Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) Program and Appropriate $7,000 from 170-410-740-38.00 Inventory to 170-410-740-62.71 Office Equipment
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
County of Lake Environmental Health Division received grant funding in the amount of $100,000 to supplement activities being done in their CUPA Program.
Because of the size of the paper files that the CUPA Program works with, purchase of this equipment will allow our CUPA Program staff to work with county vendors to complete their business plans, to provide copies of old business plans and to complete their goal of scanning existing CUPA files into their electronic records system.
During the approval of Resolution #2018-32, $5,000 was budgeted for this piece of equipment. When the quotes were received, the lowest quote was for $6139.00, without taxes. There is no cost to the County for purchase of this equipment.
