SUBJECT: Approve Resolution of the City Council of Lakeport calling for and providing for and giving notice of the General Municipal Election to be held in the City of Lakeport, County of Lake, State of California, on the 6th Day of November, 2018, for the purpose of electing two (2) City Council Members, each to hold office for a term of four years, or until their successors are elected and qualified, requesting consolidation of that election with the State General Election and requesting approval of the Lake County Board of Supervisors for election services to be provided by the Lake County Registrar of Voters

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The Lakeport City Council adopted Resolution No. 2666 (2018) calling for the City of Lakeport's General Municipal Election to be consolidated with the November 6, 2018 Statewide General Election and requesting your Board's approval to authorize the Registrar of Voter to provide all the services necessary to conduct the City of Lakeport's General Municipal Election to elect two (2) City Council Members at said election. Pursuant to Elections Code section 10403, the City of Lakeport is submitting Resolution No. 2666 (2018) to your Board for approval of consolidating the City's General Municipal Election with the November 6, 2018 Statewide General Election.
