SUBJECT:                     Approve Amendment to the Lease Agreement Between the County of Lake and Gary Weiser and Shelley Weiser for the Office Space Located at 4477 Moss Ave, Unit B, Clearlake, CA. for the Period From April 1, 2018 Through March 31, 2021 for an Amount Not To Exceed $13,200 annually; and Authorize the Chair to Sign.

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

 

The Lake County Probation Department leases office space at 4477 Moss Avenue, Unit “B”, Clearlake, CA, from Gary Weiser and Shelley Weiser.  The office is leased for the Probation Department to operate a South County Sub-Station and Day Reporting Center.  This space has proven valuable in our effort to increase our presence and services available to south county citizens.

 

The lease has been in effect since April 1, 2012, with no increase in the rate.  The only Amendment to the lease is the term. With the Amendment, the lease would run through March 31, 2021 and would, again, represent no increase in the original rate.
