SUBJECT: Consideration of (a) Board Member Appointment to new Redevelopment Agency (RDA) Oversight Board; and (b) Public Member Appointment to new Redevelopment Agency (RDA) Oversight Board
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As your Board is aware, pursuant to state law, effective July 1, 2018 the Redevelopment Agency Oversight boards of the County, City of Clearlake and the City of Lakeport must be consolidated into one new 7-member oversight board, which includes one member of your Board, and one member of the public appointed by your Board.
Chairman Steele has served as your designated Board member on the soon to be replaced County RDA Oversight Board. Chairman Steele is requesting to be appointed to this new oversight board.
For the public member your Board is responsible to appoint, staff opened the customary process for applications and received the following applications for your consideration:
