SUBJECT: Approve Contract Between the County of Lake and Lake Family Resource Center for Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment Services in the Amount of $75,883 from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020 and authorize the Chair to Sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Lake Family Resource Center and Lake County Social Services have worked together since 2002 to use the Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment (CAPIT) funds, which are allocated annually by the State, to provide parenting services open to all Lake County residents. These funds are used by Lake Family Resource Center to provide an in-home Nurturing Parenting Program which teaches referred parents nurturing skills, with lessons catered to individual needs.
