SUBJECT: Consideration of change in Board of Supervisors Committee Assignments to appoint Jim Steele as Chair to the Disaster Council
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As you are all aware, I am presently Chair of our Disaster Council. Due to the priorities of District 5, I have made the decision to step down from the Council in order to focus on other important disaster prevention efforts in my district. Supervisor Smith is Vice Chair of the Council.
It is my understanding that Supervisor Steele has interest in serving as Chair of the Disaster Council and I recommend that the Board appoint him.
