SUBJECT: Discussion and Consideration of a Draft Ordinance Amending Certain Sections of Chapter 13 to Establish Administrative Fines for Violations of the Lake County Code Relating to the Failure to Obtain and/or Maintain Any Permit Related to Cannabis Operations
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Attached here is a draft of a possible ordinance establishing administrative fines for violations of the Lake County Code relating to the failure to obtain and/or maintain any permit related to cannabis operations which is required, issued, and/or approved by the County.
This iteration of the draft ordinance places the penalty provisions under the existing Administrative Penalties section of Chapter 13 and offers a separate and additional corrective tool to be used by the County to ensure compliance with permitting requirements.
It is presented to your Board this date for your review and consideration.

This ordinance will require the standard two readings should your Board wish to take action:
First, a motion to waive the reading of the ordinance and read it in title only.
