SUBJECT: (Sitting as the Lake County Sanitation District, Board of Directors) Approve purchase of budgeted Flygt lift station pumps for LACOSAN Southeast and authorize Special Districts Administrator acting as the Assistant Purchasing Agent to issue and sign purchase order not to exceed $92,145.24.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The FY18/19 budget includes allocations in budget unit 8354 (LACOSAN SE) in the amounts of $54,000 and $60,000, for a total of $114,000.00, for the purchase of replacement Flygt lift station pumps for lift stations 1, 2 and 4. We are requesting your Board’s approval of the purchase of these budgeted items that are required as part of ongoing wastewater operations. Based on the lowest bids received, the estimated costs are $32,952.89 and $59,192.35 respectively, for a total of $92,145.24. We are requesting your Board’s approval to authorize Special Districts Administrator acting as the Assistant Purchasing Agent to issue and sign purchase order not to exceed $92,145.24.
