SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution to Accept $35,000 in Grant Funds from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Office of Spill Prevention and Response for Oil Spill Response Equipment and Training.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This resolution is to accept state funding in the amount of $35,000 for the purchase of a cargo trailer stocked with spill response equipment. The Watershed Protection District will work with California Department of Fish and Wildlife and a state-approved vendor to identify spill response equipment and training opportunities that will ultimately help protect the Lake County waterways.
