SUBJECT: (Sitting as the Lake County Sanitation District, Board of Directors) Approve purchase of budgeted 30KW Trailer Mounted Generator Set for LACOSAN Southeast and authorize Special Districts Administrator acting as the Assistant Purchasing Agent to issue and sign purchase order not to exceed $30,450.00.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The FY18/19 budget includes an allocation in budget unit 8354 (LACOSAN SE) for the purchase of A 30KW Trailer Mounted Generator Set. We are requesting your Board’s approval of the purchase of this budgeted item that is required to ensure no interruption of service during a loss of power, which is more likely to occur with the recent changes to PG&E’s fire prevention policies and procedures. Based on the lowest bids received, the anticipated cost is $30,450.00. We are requesting your Board’s approval to authorize Special Districts Administrator acting as the Assistant Purchasing Agent to issue and sign purchase order not to exceed $30,450.00.
