SUBJECT: Approve Agreement between the County of Lake and The Regents of the University of California in the Amount of $38,250, for Employee Training from October 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019; and authorize the Chair to sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The University of California through its Davis campus will provide 10 units of training for employees of Lake County Social Services’ Child Welfare department. The Northern California Training Academy is a regional program, created and funded by the California Department of Social Services, which brings training, research, evaluation, and a consultation program to Child Welfare practitioners. The course objectives cover both broad concepts and specialized skills in human services that will improve many aspects of the services rendered to children and families aided by Child Welfare Services.
