SUBJECT: Approve Second Amendment to the Contract Between the County of Lake
and Regional Housing Authority for Housing Consultant Services in the Amount of
$117,518, from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019, and Authorize the Chair to Sign both originals.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
County of Lake is currently contracted with Regional Housing Authority to administer the HOME
programs. In order to reduce a cumbersome barrier and successfully manage both the First Time
Home Buyers Program and the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program, Contractor needs the
ability to move funds between both programs freely. The current contract restricts this action. With
this amendment, the HOME Program can operate efficiently and improve the utilization of funding.
However, there is no change to original contract amount.
Regional Housing Authority requests an original signed version of the amendment for their records.
